PE
Physical Education (PE) is an essential part of our everyday lives. It helps us stay healthy, develop motor skills, and build teamwork and resilience.
Our PE curriculum is designed to:
- Encourage a love for physical activity and a positive attitude towards fitness
- Build confidence in a variety of sports and physical skills
- Develop coordination, strength, and agility
- Support working both independently and as part of a team
- Help children apply physical skills to other areas of their lives
Our curriculum follows a clear, step-by-step approach using the LTPE scheme to develop children’s physical abilities through quality, skill-focused, enjoyable PE lessons. We focus on a range of activities, from team sports to individual exercises, ensuring that children enjoy a wide variety of experiences. By using fun, practical lessons and encouraging participation, we help children grow their fitness, coordination, and teamwork skills in a supportive environment. With the use of specialist equipment such as our gymnastics apparatus and tchoukball rebounders children are able to experience a variety of sports. In addition to this, we provide opportunities for all children to engage in extra-curricular activities as well as competitive sporting events.
