Complaints & concerns

Should any parents or carers have any concerns:

  • Issues relating directly to the education of your child should be directed in the first instance to the class teacher. If parents feel dissatisfied with the response then they should refer the matter to the Headteacher.
  • Issues relating to the wider running of the school or the conduct of any staff should be directed to the Headteacher.
  • If at any time parents feel dissatisfied with the response of the Head they should refer issues to the Chair of the Local Governing Body, c/othe school office or via email to: governance@nsat.org.uk.
  • If parents feel dissatisfied with the response of the Local Governing Body, a formal complaint may be made to the CEO of Northern Star Academy Trust.

All complaints will be dealt with seriously and fairly without prejudice to you or your child. We hope that any areas of concern will be speedily and effectively dealt with to the satisfaction of all concerned, before minor issues become major problems.
